In term one, 2025 at Edmund Hillary School back at R10, school felt like a zoo full of monkeys. We were all heading to the hall because the teachers were going to present their “who am I?” project. There were so many great and beautiful projects the teachers had presented to us, the teachers all said the senior students also had to make something like this but we only got term one to finish, and off we went back to our classrooms to begin crafting our “Who am i?”.
Later on the week we returned to the hall but in individual classes we headed to the hall and in our hands we were carrying a writing book, our teacher Zoe instructed us to bring them so that we may have something to write our ideas for our “who am I?” project. I did many things I could put on mine like my culture, my perfect day and my name meaning. The ideas were pouring out of me and into my book.
We then went back to class and started planning. I planned how my project would look, my layout and everything. I felt as if it was finished but it had only started. I began getting everything ready of course there were some hard times like how I couldn’t get the printing finished fast but eventually I got there.
Later in the day I began working on my projects by adding everything on to my card. I glued, painted, cut and all the stuff I had to do, halfway through I struggled with the layout. Eventually I got frustrated and just did it how I did it before.I got distracted throughout the project because I was helping everyone else. The trees swayed smoothly while I was hard at work.
I felt a little stressed but overall it was a good project.I was very satisfied with my results, I did feel as if I could have done more with my project but I feel satisfied with the results. The feedback I got was very helpful and I now know what to improve on the next time I do a project.
