24.Kia O Rahi-Sports Reflection

 Kia Ora everyone, today I will be explaining what happened at our sports on Wednesday, so on Wednesday we all went out to play Kia O Rahi. Our team was pink and we were the ones ripping tags and throwing the ball on the bucket (I think). Our game went on for about 10 minutes. I liked that they were playing well but then something in the mood changed.

 

I liked it but the part that I probably would say I didn’t like was when they kept on telling me and Locarno to go in the middle in my opinion, if you want someone to go in the middle just go in yourself. Yes I did feel frustrated but not that much.

 

Of course there is stuff  I need to work on too, halfway or some time at the end I had to go to the toilet but when I came out they were already done, in the end the teacher growled at us about us needing more teamwork and to fix our relationship in our class. I think she is right so  we will keep on working together until it’s fixed.

We went inside and did our karakia and then went home.

24.Whanau fun day

Yesterday was a pretty fun day, even though it was a little all over the place. First, we started with volleyball. It was tricky because we were bouncing around in the bouncy castle while trying to hit the ball. The ball kept flying everywhere, and we could hardly control it, but we still played for a bit. I accidentally kicked it into someone’s face, but they didn’t get mad, so that was okay.

After volleyball, we tried this game called Kio A Rahi. I didn’t really understand the rules at first, but we ran around and tried to figure it out. Everyone was kind of making up their own rules, so it didn’t really feel like a real game, but we were laughing and having fun anyway.

Then, we went over to the inflatable obstacle course. That was actually pretty awesome. There were slides, tunnels, and things to climb over, and everyone was racing through it. It wasn’t easy, but it was fun to try and get through as fast as possible. I definitely got a little stuck in a tunnel, but it didn’t matter because we were all just having a laugh.

After the obstacle course, we played soccer. By then, everyone was pretty tired from the jumping and climbing, but we still kept running around. I scored a goal, which was nice, and people cheered, even though we were all kind of wiped out.

Finally, to wrap up the day, we did face painting. I got a tiger painted on my face, and other people got unicorns, stars, and all kinds of designs. It was a good way to end the day, even though I was definitely tired by then.

Overall, it was a fun day with lots of different activities, but I was glad it was over when it was because I was so exhausted!

08/11/24. Maths-Prototec.

KIA ORA Today I did my prototec like I do every other time, so today I am still working on my 1,2,5 & 10 which is very dumb for me but ya know I am not some scientist so Back off!

I am still working on it but I think I am getting better.

I just got a Certificate of Achievement for scoring 89% on Tables 1, 2, 5, and 10 in Prototec! 🏅 It took me 5 minutes and 40 seconds to finish, and I feel really proud of myself because I’ve been practicing my times tables a lot.

99maths-5 timetables

KiA ORA Today is 10-13-2024. We did the 5 timetables on 99maths. I kind of forgot to screenshot mine and got locked out but I still remember my accuracy and points.

We did 2 rounds and the first round, On the first round my points was about 450 and my accuracy was 90, later on in the  second round I got 1320 points and 95 accuracy I say I did a big improvement on that end.

I liked how it was easy but not too easy (IDK what I’m saying) but it was fun and a better way to do math.

27/8/24.99maths-2 timetables

Today we did 99maths , the teacher let us pick which one we could do, I think, I had my headphones on so I couldn’t hear but I did hear them all screaming “11!!”, but then we ended up doing the 2 timetables. We did it 2 times, on the first one I just relaxed, didn’t rush and here what I got👇.

Yeah for 2 timetables.(Parents would say “this is disappointing”). Then we did the second one and its a bit better than the first my points went into the thousands but my accuracy went down to 96 which I think is bad but then again I don’t even know what accuracy is so….

Yeah😐.

8/22/24.Reading response.

KIA ORA Salvation here I finished doing my reading response and now I am blogging it.

I did my reading response on the book Letterboxes by: Emeli Sione. I did the green and blue hat for that and I took a screenshot of it and here it is👇.Its more blurry than I thought it would be,but it’s ok. I also put some of the pictures of wiggles on it. The blue and the green dinosaurs to match the hats I was doing, Anyway til next time bye!!🤗

Today we had to do 99maths, we did the 9 timetables. At the first round it was hard but then the teacher told us a strategy,here it is: If you’re doing 9×9= just count 1234 up then down again. It made it really easy but I forgot how to do it on the double digits like 12 or 11, I didn’t know so I counted on that one. I Really enjoyed it and I screenshot my results.Here it is,I hope I get better at it.😁 Bye!!🤗

9/7/24.Reading response.

Today we had to do a reading response with any hat we chose and blog it so that’s what I’m doing.

For the reading hats I chose the white and black one.I did the book power from the sun.It talks about solar panels and how it travel through the solar panel to your house and give you power.Which is technically how the got the title cause its power…FROM THE SUN.Anyhow the book also included little kids from Bayswater school and them talking about their solar panels.I put a picture of my slide with the hats over here👇.

 That’s my slide you can’t see it very well but it’s ok. I did all the white hat questions and did my answers with a mix of both hats.I like it very much and hope you do too.
